A psalm fit for the day

On 1.1.11 I'm reading Psalm 111 and looking back over a year.  2010 is gone just like that.  Where does the time go if not purposely logged onto heart drives and into memory files?  These days pass quickly now with little people everywhere.  And more often than not, the days are ordinary, mundane, and filled with the repetition that is life.  But now and again there are moments...the ones that catch me by surprise and capture my heart.  Too soon they will be gone.  For now, I want to linger in them...revel in them.  Tomorrow we will start again.  The pace will quicken soon enough and this little family will jump in for another go 'round in 2011. So today we'll glance back.  We'll remember  and delight in the momemts that came and went.  And with full hearts, we will give thanks.

"Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them.  He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate."
Psalm 111: 2, 4

Praying you and yours will be blessed in the year to come...with many moments of delight and hearts filled with thanks.
